Private lessons
Available both virtually and in-person, private lessons generally consist of one lesson per week, approximately 30 minutes long, on a day and time that works for both student and instructor.
Ensembles & Special interest
Ensembles and special interest groups are offered on a regular basis, allowing students of similar background and experience levels to attend more frequently & enjoy all the benefits of working together with other musicians. Examples range from “Baroque Figured Bass Composition” to “Guitar & Lullaby’s for Moms”
"Intro to guitar" group
Beginning guitar group classes for kids are offered in Fall, Spring, and Summer. It’s a great, inexpensive way to see if guitar is an activity your child will enjoy. Rental guitars are generally available and inexpensive.
Cordoba Kai
The name started as a joke, and now… well, it’s too late to change it.
Not all students enjoy competition. However, for those who do, we have a weekly class wherein students learn to improvise Classical/Spanish guitar, and then battle to see who’s the best that week. It’s a lot of fun, motivates regular practicing, is very educational, and the only one of it’s kind that we’re aware of.
